Who are we?

A society engaged in the preliminaries of the foundation of a nondenominational pro-European popular monarchist party, looking to the future.

On the 26th of June 2004 monarchists from diverse organisations met to discuss the possibility of founding a political party. At the end of that day it was decided to found the "Schwarz-Gelbe Allianz" (SGA), the "Black and Yellow Alliance" (named after the colours of the flag of the house of Habsburg), whose purpose it is to carry out the preparations for the founding of a monarchist party. An executive committee was elected and the main points of a statute discussed and accepted unanimously.

We are of the opinion that it is time to found a new political movement which is committed to the Austrian people – not the people should serve the politicians, the politicians should serve the people. So that a well-organized political movement can be founded many preliminary steps need to be taken, this is the purpose of our new society. The first step was the registration of the "Schwarz-Gelbe Allianz" on the 6th of August 2004 and now difficult but interesting preparatory labours await us.
